The Stillness That Remains

After you let go, there is a moment of quiet.

It is easy to overlook because it does not demand your attention.

There is no urgency within it.

No expectation.

Only stillness.

This stillness is not emptiness.

It is a space where nothing is being held too tightly.

A place where you are no longer carrying what once weighed on you.

You may not notice it at first.

But it is there—

waiting for you to settle into it.

You do not need to fill this space immediately.

You do not need to replace what you have released.

You are allowed to rest here.

To exist without pressure.

To breathe without holding.

There is something gentle in this moment.

Something steady.

And if you allow yourself to remain here, even briefly,

you may begin to understand—

that letting go does not leave you with less.

It leaves you with room.
