Everybody wants peace, but no one wants the fight that comes with it. Everybody wants wisdom, but no one wants the years of struggle that forge it. Everybody wants change—until it demands something from them.
Change isn’t a wish. It’s not a dream. It’s not some beautifully wrapped idea that falls into your lap while you sit comfortably waiting for the world to shift. No—change is war. A war against old habits, old beliefs, old patterns. A war against fear, against doubt, against everything in you that clings to the familiar because it’s easier than stepping into the unknown.
And most people? They’re not ready for that fight.
They talk about transformation, but when the fire gets hot, they retreat. They talk about breaking free, but when it means leaving behind the people, places, and comforts that hold them back, they hesitate.
Because real change demands. It asks for your time, your energy, your comfort, your illusions. It will strip you down, test your resolve, and push you to the very edge of yourself. And only then—if you’re willing to pay the price—will it give you something back.
So, I ask you:
Do you really want change? Or do you just like the sound of it?
Are you ready to burn away the past and walk through the fire? Or are you just looking for another excuse to stay the same?
The choice is yours. But don’t lie to yourself. Change doesn’t come cheap.
